While I am not a big fan of apocalypse movies that reuse the same plots, storylines and bizarre aimless zombies, Apocalypse 2065 is a movie worth seeing for no other reason than because it is simply visually enthralling and action-packed!
APOCALYPSE 2065 Rating: 4.75 ⭐
2065 is a tech-noir film of pure dynamic energy set deep into the core of the story. The film (by Three Men Studios and directed by Serge Veyron, through brilliant CGI, depicts a brutal futuristic world, a bleak and dark vision created through an enigmatic visual expression. Set in a future where civilization has collapsed in a state of anarchy as a result of civil war in countries today considered world powers; nuclear war in Eastern Europe, and famine across the globe except for the Middle East, Africa, and the Southern Hemisphere. In 2065 we see a world with food and water shortage, animals at risk of extinction, cities mired in chaos, and violence with gangs killing each other for the few remaining supplies of fuel and food. Airplanes no longer operate and vehicles of the future are dilapidated and makeshift to serve just the basic needs of essential transport. Most dwellings have moved away from destroyed cities mostly housed in any inhabitable section of fully destroyed areas.
The only inhabitable places on earth in 2065 are the countries and continents that we are today considered third world and underdeveloped. In the future, we see technology has no role in survival. While in our current world we are helplessly reliant on electronics, high technology, and processed food, In the future, these are nothing but relics and useless toys. By then, the balance of power lies with those of us who can survive through nature and off the natural resources of the Earth. However, this story begins in the United States. Due to decades of civil war, the United States by the year 2065 divided into two countries, the Unties Northern States and the United Southern States.
The film revolves around a young couple in their mid-20s, Heath Wolfe, an Engineer, and his wife Arabella, a first-year doctor who lives in the Northern United States. Arabella discovers she is pregnant, a rarity since the radiation has rendered most of the inhabitants infertile and rendered born babies with a life span of fewer than six months after birth. Intent on having the baby, the couple decide to leave the New York of Northern Unites States for the Southern Unties States for Florida to travel by sea to safer lands where they would be able to raise their unborn child.
The analogy of seeing Survivors of first-world countries becoming refugees in what today is considered the third world is not lost on the audience. In those countries peace and cooperation, a barter system, and dependence on nature become the keys to survival. We see the world starting over leaving relics of modern times to be nothing but extinct ruins of the past.
The director imagined a fantastic world and takes us through its chaos to finally reach relief and peace. The contrast is even starker as the latter is depicted only by nature. Imagine the comparison of Mad Max to the serene scenes of Avatar and you will get the picture.

This science fiction movie is an absolute masterpiece! The visuals were stunning, and the storyline was captivating from start to finish. I was completely immersed in the world they created!🎥🎬 However at the same time, I also feel that a rating of 4.75 ⭐may be a little too generous as the movie wasn't unique enough as certain themes felt a little 'copy and paste'!🤔🤔 I would really appreciate it if you let me know your thoughts Talal. Thank you!
I've seen a lot of science fiction movies, but this one truly stood out as unique and original. 🥰 It's a must-watch for any sci-fi enthusiast!😭😭
The attention to detail in this movie was astounding. The costumes, set designs, and futuristic technology all came together to create a truly immersive experience.
